Local, family-owned and operated, Athena’s Window Fashions has been beautifying homes with custom draperies, blinds and shutters since 1983.
Athena Hatch
Athena was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. At a young age she developed a love of sewing and working with fabrics. Upon graduating from Mesa High she got her first job at a drapery workroom in downtown Mesa. She continued to work there while she got an Associate of Arts Degree from MCC. Shortly after graduating from MCC Athena and John were married. When their first child arrived Athena decided to quit her job in the drapery workroom so that she could stay at home to be a full-time mother. With her extra time she began making draperies for her family and friends. This developed into a full time business that continues until today.
John Hatch
John was born and raised in Parker, Arizona. After graduating from Parker High School he served a full-time mission in Ohio for the LDS Church. In 1981 he married Athena and they began their family. John worked as an electrician for a few years until he decided to jump into the Drapery business full time. John and Athena are the parents of five children.
Athena’s Window Fashions has been beautifying homes by designing, manufacturing and installing custom draperies, blinds and shutters in Gilbert, AZ. John and Athena have worked on many varied projects. Let their experience and expertise work for.
